The sample portraits in the galleries are only demonstrative. None of them have ever been my actual draw-to-order models.

All customers' pictures will be either deleted (digital images) or returned back to the customer (any kind of hardcopies) after the drawings have been paid by the customer.

 

Paid works will never be displayed in my galleries.

 

 

 

PRICES

 

General portrait features:

(1) Drawing includes head and shoulders only (additional fee applies to drawings with partial body below shoulders)

(2) Simple faded background

(3) Drawing comes with fixative coating

(4) Pencils used: Graphite, various hardnesses

(5) Only black & white drawings available (gray scale)

(6) Paper: Acid-free, 70lbs

 

Standard size:

 

(1) 11x14" / one person $150, two persons $250 in same drawing

(2) Approximate height of head 7-8" in one person drawing, 3-5" in two person drawing.

 

 

Non-Standard sizes:

 

Any custom sizes are available, pricing negotiable (paper material may be different from standard)

HOW TO ORDER

 

General requirements for media:

(1) Digital image: This form of media is preferred. Minimum resolution VGA (app. 640x480 pixels). The more resolution in the image, the better. Image files up to 6Mb acceptable.

(2) Traditional photo: Minimum height of head(s) in the paper copy image = 2" (for the single or dual person 11x14" drawing. A sharp photo works best for the most optimal result. Fuzzy pictures may result in "unwanted artistic impression".

(3) Any other type of hardcopy: Everything is accepted but the result may vary depending on the size, image resolution, surface condition of the copy or other similar factors. In these cases I typically want to confer with the customer regarding price and anticipatable result.

Submitting the media:                                                                                                                                          

(1) The most convenient way of delivering the image is to email it to me. Even if you just have a hardcopy and if you have a digital camera, you may take a picture and email it.

(2) Other way of delivery is the regular mail (to obtain the ship-to-address, please send me an email by clicking the 'Contact ' button on the main page). Original hardcopies will be returned to you at your cost.

(3) After I have received the image material, it typically takes between one to two weeks before I am finished with the drawing. Then, I will email a digital proof of the drawing for your approval. After your approval, you should send the payment as follows:

(1) Shipping and handling per shipment (1-5 drawings) $14 (continental US, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands). 

(2) Way of delivery: USPS Priority.
